Joe C Riddle Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joe C Riddle, 78, Of Lynchburg, TN, joined the Lord suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, June 29,2022. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Daves-Culbertson in Tullahoma, Tn. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 6th, 2022 at 11:00am at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with Brother Mike Awalt of Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Pennington Cemetery. Arrangements are by Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Joe C was born in Franklin County, Tn to the late John Riley Riddle and Susie Arvella Reavis on January 8th, 1944. He spent his childhood in Awalt. He spent many years moving his family around the southern states following work, before settling in Lynchburg, TN. Joe C was a Contractor/Carpenter by trade. He could build anything from the ground up. Joe C was an avid member of the Community of Lynchburg. Everyone knew who he was, he was loved by all. Joe C spent most of his days keeping the roads hot with Mr. James. They would ride around and see what kind of trouble they could get into. Most days they would end up sitting at Woodard’s Market, Damron's Restaurant or out in the front yard under a shade tree. He loved his animals. He couldn't let a stray go unfed. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He would always make sure all the grandkids were taken care of. They were his pride and joy. Joe C was a huge supporter of Jack Daniel. One of his favorite drinks! He also loved the ladies! Not a single Waitress, Cashier, or Stranger went away without him flirting! Those blue eyes could get him anything he wanted! Joe C was survived in death by His Ex-Wife, Diane Riddle, Two daughters, Charlotte (Paul) Lewis and Marsha Greenwood (Partner Terry Eliott), Two brothers Johnny (Barbara) Riddle and Billy Wayne (Patty) Riddle, Best Friend James (Teresa) Lewis. Joe C treasured each Grand and Great Grandchild he had. Grand Children. Jeffrey (Tiffany) Riddle, Sandy Bright, Dominique Lewis, Dalton Lewis, Savannah Lewis, Paul Dillon Lewis, Kaylee Goff, Kylie Lewis, Clarissa (Seth) Davis, Courtney (Justin) Gore, Thomas Greenwood III. Great Grandchildren. Peyton Riddle, Bryson Riddle, Paul Daniel Lewis, Rili Davis, Alyxia Davis, Emma Gore, Truitt Gore. Joe C is preceded in Death by his parents John Riley Riddle and Susie Arvella Reavis. Three brothers; James (Evelyn’s) Riddle, Leon (Edith) Riddle, Ralph (Helen) Riddle. One Sister; Catherine (Carl) Alonzo.
