Curtis Isaiah Grubbs, age 23, passed this life Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born January 22, 1998 in Winchester, TN to Samuel Johnson Jr. and Bobbie Sue Grubbs. Curtis worked at Viam in Manchester and loved everything football and basketball. Above everything, he loved his kids with all his heart. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Franklin Grubbs. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. Sunday, October 17th at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 2 pm in the chapel and interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Curtis is survived by his children, Roman Isaiah Grubbs and Ryder Videl Quinn Henley; parents, Bobbie Sue Posan and Samuel Johnson Jr.; siblings, Adam Vandiver Posan II, Dylan Thomas Posan, Deshaun M. Johnson, Austin Posan and Catara Johnson; grandparents, Linda Sue Grant, Samuel Brown and Barbara Ann Johnson; great grandmother, Barbara Estell Sanders; uncles and aunts, Patrick Lamont Johnson, Dean Drake, Samantha Drake, Calia Alvaresz and Connellya Guebara; Host of extended family and friends; and fiancé, Victoria Arnold.
